Founded by a passionate and experienced dog trainer, the brand was created to fill a void in the dog training industry. Many trainers rely solely on dominance-based techniques, while others are so focused on positive reinforcement that they neglect to appropriately address unwanted behaviors. I saw an opportunity to provide a better, more balanced approach in the Bay Area.
My approach combines positive reinforcement with correction and redirection, tailored to the unique needs of each dog. I believe that every dog requires a personalized approach to training, and I insist upon also working closely with owners to help them create clear boundaries and guidance with their dogs.
My dedication to a balanced approach has earned a loyal following, and have expanded my services to include behavior modification, private sessions, group classes, and basic training through one-on-one sessions. My goal is to create harmonious relationships between dogs and their owners, resulting in happy, healthy, and well-behaved dogs while simultaneously creating an easier life for you, the owner.
My reputation for professionalism and expertise continues to grow, and I'm committed to providing exceptional service and support to all of my clients. I believe that a balanced approach to dog training is the key to success, and I'm proud to be at the forefront of this movement in the industry.
I have helped hundreds of dogs all around the country since I started working at age 16. Before then I was always training my own pets which included dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and squirrels. My principles are so simple and realistic that I've even been able to help people keep their horses and goats from running away.
Demand for my advice is rising at a rate I can hardly handle. I plan to make my advice more public soon through videos and blogging. My goal is to be hosting group classes all over the country within the next couple of years. I would definitely recommend scheduling a consultation with me before there is a wait list where it takes me weeks or months to become available or my prices go up.

Jake is a great dog trainer! I have 2 Golden Retrievers, ages 7 and 2. He personalized his training methods for my unique situation, including home visits. We worked on indoor manners, walking with no pulling, to name a few things… He also gave me a lot of important tips about me being the leader of the pack, not them, as well as very useful information regarding which choice of collars to use, food and treats, etc… I would highly recommend him to anyone. I plan on doing more sessions soon.
